We are Rachel and Jeff.

We are owned by four pugs – Rosie, Ming, Olivander “Ollie” and Sugaree.   Additionally, we have a forever foster, Casey Jones, from Philly Pug & Short Nose Rescue.

Why the RV lifestyle?

The desire to see the country has been a strong one in both of us most of our lives.  It may be great to get on an airplane and fly to your ultimate destination. Unfortunately, you fly over so many great things to see and places to visit.  Traveling by RV you have the opportunity to stop and see those site and have those experiences you would otherwise miss.

Both of us are huge Deadheads (fans of the Grateful Dead and related bands).  With the RV and our CR-V in tow, we are planning on seeing several Dead and Company shows and other concerts and festivals.  Look for us.  We will be flying an American and Grateful Dead flags over our RV.

For the most part, we will be spending most of our time in the Pocono mountains.  Found a very nice KOA campground at the Delaware Water Gap.  It is clean, lots of activities if we want to participate, and the people are generally very friendly.

Why start HomedPugRV.com?

Homedpugrv.com is intended to chronical our adventures (and misadventures – there will be a few from time to time).  Our plan is to share some of the things we learned about the RV lifestyle, life, and more.

Please feel free to let us know what you think about our blogs, any advice or suggestions are always welcome.
